Day 69

     Today Katie didn't eat breakfast or dinner, but she ate lunch.  So, she is averaging about one meal a day, right now.  Although today she did eat a little bit of fruit after her nap and tonight.  Katie told me this afternoon that her tummy hurts.  The doctor told us she would loose weight during this phase, so we were expecting that, but it is hard to see her not eating.  Katie doesn't go back to the doctor for her next treatment until Monday.  She goes in every ten days during this phase.  We were told the second or third dose of chemo (during this phase) is when she will probably start having more trouble
     President Ezra Taft Benson made a statement suggesting how we might make a difference in our homes.  "The Lord works from the inside out.  The world works from the outside in... The world would mold men by changing their environment.  Christ changes men, who then change their environment" (Ensign, Nov. 1985, p.6).  - Food for thought.  I am grateful we have to opportunity to change, grow and progress.  Today we are glad for Katie and Conner's laughter.
