Day 79

Katie's legs and feet started hurting today.  We were expecting that.  Scott rubbed her legs and feet several times today.  Scott also took Katie to her physical therapy appointment.  The therapist said Katie's right leg is weaker than her left.  She told us to buy her a tricycle, and to help her walk up and down the stairs to help strengthen her.
My husband bought a dozen roses for me today - I should have bought them for him (so to speak).  I had a grumpy day today.  I am going to try and get out of the house (by myself tomorrow)... I have a little bit of "cabin fever".   So, here is a good reminder for me, by President Thomas S. Monson, "We can lift ourselves...when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude.  If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest virtues." (Ensign, May 1992, 54)
