Well....the potty training was a complete bust today. After two accidents, Katie went willingly into a diaper at nap time, and it didn't get any better after that! ???? Scott said to not push her, because she is already dealing with so much. Anyway, we made the most of today. I took them to the park and they rode their new big wheels on the basketball court and down the grassy hills (small). Katie enjoyed it more than Conner did. We played in the front yard and the back. (Hard on my allergies, but otherwise, fun). Katie seems to still be doing great, and she looks good, but she is asking me to carry her more - so I am wondering if her blood counts are down - I guess we will find out on Thursday. If it is low, she will need a blood transfusion and that will move her chemo treatments back a few days.
"Certainly we have never passed through more than the Savior did, nor as much. But He through all His life remained true and faithful to His Father and to His calling as the Savior of the world. He prayed a great deal, and He mourned before the Lord over the sins of the world. Today He is in our midst. He is our Advocate with the Father. [D&C 29:5] He is watching over us, and He will do all that he can for our salvation.... If we are faithful and obedient in times of trial the Lord will strengthen us and use adversity to help us prepare for celestial glory" (Wilford Woodruff, Millennial Star, March 5, 1896, 150).
Today I am glad (grateful) we have a Savior who is an advocate with the Father for us.
